This song was originally preformed by the Misfits in that late 90’s, but was written by Michale Graves who was fronting the band at the time. Rumor has it this song is about his mother who died when he was a boy and was written when he was only 14. “Dig Up Her Bones” is a song about memories because much like bones they are all that’s left when a person dies. They are what remain with us and not even death can take them.
"Frost Bite" – Michale Graves & Damien Echols – Illusions (2007)
one of the most beautiful songs I know, the lyrics are poetry
"There’s a map in my room, on the wall of ky room, and I’ve got big, BIG plans."- Maps by The Front Bottoms
push-ups // the front bottoms
the only reason for the push-ups is the fact i know i can’t support you
And I was told, “Boy, prepare for war!’
But they failed to mention what I’d be fighting for.
So, I fight for this;
the fact that as I pass away I feel her kiss,
and I smile, what a wonderful life
